But complaining doesn’t help, you have to act. And that’s what I do now almost every evening. One day, I read a quote that said something like: “Why do birds, who can fly anywhere on the planet, always stay in the same places.” Then, I asked myself the same question: why do I stay here, when I can fly anywhere on the planet?

The truth is, we want others to change things. The truth is also that every person we meet knows something we don’t know, regardless of their age or origin. Everything I know can be useful to someone else, even what I find insignificant! So I write. I write to help, and also a bit to fill the sleepless hours. I write in the only place where people still read: on a website. I write sentences to help newcomers. Newcomers in anything, in any field I’ve touched closely or from afar. I call it “guidance for ✳”, where the star is a function, a profession, a state… where someone can be new.

When I write words on my site, I’m also carving lines under my eyes, but I dare hope it’s for a good cause, which might help toward a better future, even though these days, everything seems to be getting worse and worse, despite what the media thinks…
