Flaws
Lire ce billet en français →Let’s not fool ourselves, every human being has at least one flaw. There’s nothing wrong with that, but sometimes flaws are unknown to their host, which can accentuate that flaw.
Nature being what it is, a funny irony has appeared: the flaws we notice most in others are the ones we have ourselves. So, the next time someone has a flaw that gets on your nerves, ask yourself if you have that flaw yourself, but were unaware of it until now. A known flaw is a reduced flaw. You’ll make the world better.
Similarly, this ability to see our own problems has produced another benefit to our society: people often study in a field related to their flaws. Crooked teeth? Dentist. Socially isolated? Programmer. Sore feet? Podiatrist. Sexually unsatisfied? Sexologist, gynecologist or… prostitute.
