Sleep

Lire ce billet en français →

Since human beings have existed, they have always had to sleep. It’s only recently that there’s been a sleep epidemic.

We’ve almost all forgotten how to do it, because we always want to do more, and sleep takes a big chunk of our time, so why not neglect it. We aren’t taught in school how to sleep well, nor eat well, nor breathe well.

Yet these are the three most important things for a human being, but we prefer to be better at video games, at work, or anywhere else. As long as our needs are “satisfied,” it doesn’t matter if it could be better.

We settle for what we have, always looking for better through other aspects of life.
